6 Reasons Why People Will Not Meet Their 2023 Goals

A few weeks ago, I held a workshop for members of First Capital Gym. The focus of the workshop was making 2023 the healthiest and fittest year of their lives. The workshop was not filled with tactics like how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks or get in shape in 3 weeks. Instead, it was dedicated on building a strategy that will get them to their goals and more importantly, SUSTAIN IT LONGTERM.

Unfortunately, before I got into the strategy, I had to get a bit negative. I had to tell them 6 reasons why most people will fail their goals in 2023.

The 6 reasons are:
#1 Goals are too general
#2 No plan to achieve the goal
#3 Lifestyle
#4 Comparison
#5 Tour De Force Mode
#6 Mindset

6 Reasons Why People Will Not Meet Their 2023 Goals

In most cases, when people don’t reach their goals, one or more of those above are the reasons. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll take a look at each of them, why they are important, and what you can do to avoid making the mistakes. On a side note, if you haven’t blocked out some time to look ahead to 2023, I would recommend doing so. Don’t go into 2023 without a goal.
