What Makes This Program Different...

We understand that you have many choices when it comes to your health & fitness. In fact, there’s so many choices that it can be downright confusing!  Should you do a detox, a 21-day bootcamp, lift weights, cardio or the latest fad diet? Everybody is trying to sell you the quick-fix diet or exercise plan.

1. Designed Specifically For Beginners Over 40.  

After forty, fitness and nutrition is different and what worked in your 20's and 30's doesn't work as well after 40.  While you’re at First Capital Gym, you’re not going to jump up on 40 inch boxes for time or working out until you’re sick.  We have a program that is designed for the over forty client in mind.

2. Individualized Fitness Coaching.  

Instead of walking into the gym and doing the same thing over and over in large group fitness class doing the same cookie-cutter program, our coaches will guide you each step of the way and individualize the workouts to your specific needs and fitness level. Each workout will have you leaving feeling good about yourself and what you accomplished.

3. Strength Training. 

A strong body is a healthy body. That’s why at First Capital Gym, strength training is the foundation of our program.  We start with basic movements, which allows you to build a strong foundation of movement, and we build up from there as you are ready. Strength training carries over into daily life by improving your ability to perform yard work, lift a heavy object, play a round of golf, or hiking with your friends and family. We believe that strength training improves your ability to do everything you enjoy and love in your life. 

4. Nutrition Coaching, Not Dieting.  

This is not another crazy diet plan that you see all over the internet.  When it’s all said and done, these plans will result in short-term success and not for the long-term.  Instead, we will teach you a set of habits for nutrition that will help you achieve lasting results once and for all.

5. Accountability and Progress Tracking.

We will help you set realistic goals that are attainable. One of the reasons so many people struggle is because of short-term programs that promise unrealistic results or require a bigger commitment than your lifestyle is able to maintain. Fitness takes time and each person is on a different journey. We will help you develop goals that fit into your lifestyle and the amount of time you have available to commit to it. We will then keep you accountable by checking in with you and making adjustments to your program as needed so that you are successful.

Here is what you get with the 90-Day Beginner Fitness Membership as a member of our fitness family:

  • Small Group Personal Training Up To 3x/week in a session with a coach who will individualize each workout to your specific needs and abilities.
  • Starting Point Session to ensure your success, our Head Trainer will sit down with you and discuss your needs and goals to build a plan just for you.
  • Nutrition Coaching you will meet with a coach every three weeks to review your nutrition and program progress. This is where we make adjustments, find what's working and develop a plan of action for what you are struggling with.
  • First Capital Gym’s Beginner's Guide to Nutrition we don't believe diets or meal plans are the answer, and we do not believe that you have to count every calorie to be successful. Instead, we will teach you a set of habits that are easy and effective.
