(With Turkey Burger)
Ingredients:
For the “Burger”:
1 lb. lean ground turkey burger
1 TBSP yellow mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp pickle juice
For the salad:
Thousand Island dressing from Primal Kitchen
Romaine lettuce ( 2 hearts, chopped)
1 cup diced Roma tomatoes
1/3 red onion (or as much as desired)
Pickles halved or diced
Brown turkey burger over medium high heat, season well with salt and pepper. About half way through, add in remaining sides and pickle juice. Once cooked through, adjust seasoning to taste.
Assemble salad, lettuce, turkey burger, tomatoes, onion, pickles, dressing, cheese.
Any thousand island would work but I chose Primal Kitchen because it’s made with 100% pure organic avocado oil, and is free of GMO’s, dairy, gluten, soy, sugar, canola, sunflower & safflower oils.
