Have you ever seen the movie Argo?
Do you remember the scene where people are putting back together shredded documents?
There’s literally 100s of pieces of paper and people putting them together. Great scene. Great movie.
What does the movie Argo have to do with fitness, strength & conditioning, and health?
Let me explain.
For those of you that don’t know, OUR continuing education monthly bill is pretty steep. How can it not be? The industry is constantly evolving. If we are not constantly getting better, we do a disservice to you, the consumer. The programs I did years ago, I laugh (and cry) at.
Well, we recently successfully completed the Strong First Level 2 Kettlebell Certification this weekend. As I looked around to the attendees of the certification, I noticed something that has constantly been bugging me for years. THE SAME PEOPLE ARE ATTENDING THESE WORKSHOPS & CERTIFICATIONS! Are they too expensive? Too difficult to pass? I don’t know the answer but I am convinced ONLY THE BEST want to improve themselves.
So, I have two questions for you:
Is your trainer or trainers constantly improving and educating themselves? If they’re still making you do crunches, leaving you laying in a puddle of sweat after every session, and running outdated bootcamps, the answer is probably no.
When was the last workshop or seminar they went to? No, YouTube University does not count!
If your trainer/coach isn’t investing in themselves, how does this benefit you?
If your trainer is going on YouTube and piecing together clips from seminars, they’re just like my man here!
