Most people who reach out to us are looking to get stronger, more fit & healthy.
Beth came to us as a referral and she was no different than anyone else but she also wanted to be able to do a pushup. She said she was never able to do one and her goal was to do one in less than 6 months.
She also had some knee issues that she thought would prevent her from doing some of her favorite exercises.
She signed up for our 6 week trial and she was off.
Fast forward 4 months (she became a member) and consistently coming in 2x per week, she is comfortably able to hit sets of 6 pushups and hit a personal record of 10 the other day.
When she hit 10, I actually thought she was going to cry….that’s how happy she was.
She’s now able to hit 10 pushups without any problems.
She’s also able to lunge and squat…..something she thought was out of question.

At First Capital Gym, we prioritize strength training over everything else because strength is the foundation.
Without it, we’re susceptible to things like loss of muscle, frailty, and falling.
