Turkey Burger “Cheesesteak”


2.5 lb lean ground turkey breast
1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
1/4 cup onion- chopped fine
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp crushed red pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella

Begin by sauteing red pepper, jalapeno, onion and garlic until peppers begin to soften. Add in lean ground turkey breast and seasonings. Saute until the turkey burger is browned all the way. Drain burger and combine cheese. Serve mixture in a lettuce “wrap” or “taco”.
