You now have your goals written down and you have a plan of attack. Unfortunately, lifestyle is one thing that gets overlooked when people start exercising. The problem is that your lifestyle will ultimately dictate whether you’ll reach your goals or not.
In my 2023 Goals Workshop a few weeks back I mentioned that most people want to eat like an 8 year old and party like they’re still 21…….and still make their goals. Unfortunately, this will not happen. Are you allowed to have off days? Absolutely. Off weeks and months or chronic behaviors are what we are talking about here.
To help you out, list the 3 big things that are inhibiting you of making your goals a reality.
Here are some examples:
-Staying up too late
-Partying too hard on the weekends
-Late night snacks
-Drinking too much
-Stress management
-Sugared drinks
-Too much fast food
-Sleeping in too late
Identify the 3 areas and work to improve them. This will definitely fall under the “Simple but not easy” category. My advice would be to knock out the easy ones first and then progress to more harder changes.
You can definitely do this but it’s going take some work!
